Welcome to BalkanID's API documentation! Here you'll find information about the various endpoints available to you, as well as the parameters and responses that they accept and return. To enable API access for your account, please contact Customer Support.API Keys#
To get your API keys, follow the instructions below:Step 1: Log in to BalkanID and click your profile icon in the top-right corner. From the dropdown menu, select API Keys to navigate to the API Keys page.Step 2: On the API Keys page, click Create API Key to open the API key generation modal.Step 3: Enter a name for your API key in the Key Name field. You can also configure an optional expiry period to determine how long the key remains valid.Once you've configured the required details, click Generate.BalkanID will generate and display two credentials:Key ID: Identifies your API key.Secret: Used to authenticate API requests.Make sure to copy and securely store both credentials. The secret may not be accessible again after you close the modal.Step 4: After securely storing your API credentials, check the confirmation checkbox and click Close to finish the process.Modified at 2026-11-06 14:31:11
